Thèse de doctorat à caractère juridique, a pour objet la traduction annotée et commentée du chapitre "l'igmâ'" extrait de l'ihkam fi usul l'ahkam d'Ibn Hazm (994/1063) de Cordoue. Lequel était à la fois poète, penseur, juriste et historien. Le plan général est constitué de quatre parties. Dans la première partie, le chapitre 1 comporte des remarques d'ordre technique et une présentation générale de l'ouvrage. Le chapitre 2 est consacré à la biographie de l'auteur, à ses maîtres, à son engagement politique et à son itinéraire dans le domaine du droit islamique. La seconde partie contient deux chapitres et une conclusion : le premier chapitre comporte un aperçu général sur le consensus. Le second chapitre traite du concept du consensus chez Ibn Hazm tel qu'il le conçoit. Quant à la conclusion, elle vient couronner cette partie et ainsi donner une synthèse au travail entrepris. La troisième partie renferme la traduction intégrale du chapitre "l'igmâ'" de l'ouvrage mentionné avec le texte arabe en regard. La quatrième partie intitulée bibliographie générale comporte : un index des noms propres classés selon l'alphabet français avec les lettres arabes équivalentes, un glossaire des termes techniques classés de la même manière précédente et une table des matières avec une subdivision détaillée
