He is perhaps best known for his recurring role as Darnell Wilkes on the UPN/CW sitcom Girlfriends. Kain was born in Harlem, Manhattan, New York City, New York, of African American and Chinese descent. He first appeared in the 1992 film Juice as Raheem. Some of his credits include Suddenly Susan, Friends, Living Single, Moesha, Angel, and Sister, Sister. Kain portrayed Marvin Cox in the 1997 romantic comedy, Love Jones and golfer Tiger Woods in Showtime's The Tiger Woods Story. He was also in Bones with co-star Snoop Dogg. Kain has been an avid student of martial arts since 1996, and holds a black belt in hapkido.

Dr. Prof. Mohammad Aslam Khan Khalil or M.A.K Khalil and Aslam Khalil is a highly cited atmospheric physicist and Research Scientist of American and Pakistani origins. In his early career he worked on quantum field theory of elementary particles. During the last three decades he has worked on Global Change Science, including the physics, chemistry and biology of greenhouse gases and ozone depleting compounds. He is a Professor of Physics at Portland State University. Born in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India, Khalil's family migrated to, Pakistan in 1952 where they settled in Abbottabad, Pakistan. He attended Burn Hall School in Abbottabad in the mid 1950's and Saint Placid's High School in Chittagong, East Pakistan in the early 1960s. He played with Kuala Lumpur FA and Perak FA during his heyday, where he won two Malaysia Cup with Perak and two Malaysia FA Cup with Kuala Lumpur.
