Sebagai pelajar kita harus selalu semangat dalam belajar agar memperoleh pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman untuk bekal sepanjang masa. Salah satunya ilmu yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan. Buku RPUL merupakan salah satu ilmu umum yang berperan penting mengenai ruang lingkup kehidupan dunia di dalamnya yang disusun secara metodis dan sistematis yang terkait satu sama lain. Adanya perkembangan-perkembangan yang terjadi di dunia sangatlah perlu untuk diketahui. Karenanya, salah satu alasan diterbitkannya buku RPUL ini, selain untuk menambah pengetahuan umum bagi para pelajar dan masyarakat umum, juga mempermudah para orang tua memberikan penjelasan ke anak.
