Human-machine communication for educational systems design

A fundamental goal of human-machine communication is to increase the useful bandwidth across the interface. Research should start with studies of human communication channels and work toward devices and techniques using those channels. This volume in the NATO Special Programme on Advanced Educational Technology discusses the theme in the context of educational systems.
