We have compiled these exercises as English Language Teachers in Malaysia. We have used them for our children, our friends’ children and our tuition students and they have scored A1 in all their examinations. Today they can converse comfortably with anyone from the US, Great Britain or Australia. We could not use these exercises fully with our classroom students because we were tied down by the constraints of the Government Syllabus and insufficient teaching time. As fluency in spoken English is the objective of these lessons, the answers must be in oral form. Too much emphasis is on written exercises when we know that 99.9% of the words we use come from our mouth and not from our hands and pen .

It's the 1970s and cracks are starting to appear in the alliance between China and its Communist cohort Albania. When an Albanian steps on the foot of a Chinese diplomat the tension cranks up – couriers between Tirana and Beijing carry annotated x-rays of the foot back and forth. The Chinese intend to punish their interfering little ally discreetly. But is the Sino-Albanian axis about to come adrift? This is Kadare’s surreal black comedy about the inner sanctums of political power and the mysterious causal chains that transform ordinary lives.
I'm in the wrong, I know. Seriously at fault. . . The staff officer at H.Q., in his
autocritique, admitted that he gave the couriers the verbal order to take to the
tank group, and it was also he who heard the tank officer refuse, over the radio, to
comply ...
The book reports modeling and simulation techniques for substrate noise coupling effects in RFICs and introduces isolation structures and design guides to mitigate such effects with the ultimate goal of enhancing the yield of RF and mixed signal SoCs. The book further reports silicon measurements, and new test and noise isolation structures. To the authors’ knowledge, this is the first title devoted to the topic of substrate noise coupling in RFICs as part of a large SoC.
Figure 5.9 shows the simulation vs. measurement data after de-embedding.
Appendix B explains the measurement details. The inductor parameters are
shown on the plots and they vary from 180 m outer diameter to 120 m, and coil
width of 11 ...
This brief focuses on radio resource allocation in a heterogeneous wireless medium. It presents radio resource allocation algorithms with decentralized implementation, which support both single-network and multi-homing services. The brief provides a set of cooperative networking algorithms, which rely on the concepts of short-term call traffic load prediction, network cooperation, convex optimization, and decomposition theory. In the proposed solutions, mobile terminals play an active role in the resource allocation operation, instead of their traditional role as passive service recipients in the networking environment.
On the other hand, the main role of an MT, m, is to update its coordination
parameter(s) (νm for MT with CBR service, or μ(1)m − μ(2)m for MT with VBR
service) in order to satisfy its required bandwidth. Both link access price values

Low-Voltage CMOS Operational Amplifiers: Theory, Design and Implementation discusses both single and two-stage architectures. Opamps with constant-gm input stage are designed and their excellent performance over the rail-to-rail input common mode range is demonstrated. The first set of CMOS constant-gm input stages was introduced by a group from Technische Universiteit, Delft and Universiteit Twente, the Netherlands. These earlier versions of circuits are discussed, along with new circuits developed at the Ohio State University. The design, fabrication (MOSIS Tiny Chips), and characterization of the new circuits are now complete. Basic analog integrated circuit design concepts should be understood in order to fully appreciate the work presented. However, the topics are presented in a logical order and the circuits are explained in great detail, so that Low-Voltage CMOS Operational Amplifiers can be read and enjoyed by those without much experience in analog circuit design. It is an invaluable reference book, and may be used as a text for advanced courses on the subject.
The bottom part of the circuit diagram is the output stage shown in Figure 6.9 and
the input stage is shown at the top part of the figure. As in opamp 1, Mp provides
bias current to the p-channel differential pair consisting of M, and M\a, while Mg ...
Creating Wealth with South Africa's Low-income Communities Through Partnership and Innovation
The base of the pyramid (BOP)—the largest socio-economic group, but which also has the lowest income—is the subject of increasing attention in business practices worldwide, the current shift of which is toward creating a more sustainable market. That trend is thoroughly detailed in this helpful guide to understanding and succeeding in BOP business. Utilizing case studies from South Africa, the book demonstrates that in South Africa, around 60 percent of the population is not served or underserved by current business, with similar comparisons existing globally. The book offers strategies for tapping the significant new market both effectively and ethically, and showcases pioneering BOP businesses as well as the failures—giving special focus to what makes an approach sustainable. Also included are interviews with more than 40 top players, and the case studies include Nestlé, Danone, Walmart, Blue Label Technologies, and Capitec.
