Karena mereka berasal dari ras, etnik, nasionaliti, kelas yang berbeda, dan perempuan! Tanah Arab sebagai tujuan kerja memang menjadi pilihan mereka, karena berbagai harapan yang terkait dengan identitas religiositas. Tanah Arab dipandang sebagai Tanah Harapan, Tanah Suci, Namun mereka sama sekali tidak memiliki pemahaman tentang konteks sosial dan budaya Arab, suatu pengetahuan yang sangat penting sebelum berangkat. Migrasi para perempuan telah menciptakan mata rantai kehidupan bagi banyak orang sejak dari kampung halaman sampai negara tujuan. Konstribusi mereka di pasar global berupa menggantikan peran produksi dan reproduksi perempuan di negara kaya.
