Plato's idea of the soul received further development in the writing of Plotinus
where the One, to hen, and Intellect or logos, nous, and Soul or cold breath,
psyche, in the written word represented the basic three part pattern. These latter
two were said to emanate, Latin flow, Greek mado and hence madzos, nipple of
