Studi Pengasuhan Anak TKI Perempuan pada Pesantren di Indramayu

Tenaga Kerja Indonesia Perempuan (TKIP) ke luar negeri sebagai pekerja rumah tangga termasuk merawat anak, dialami oleh sejumlah negara lain, merupakan fenomena global care chain. Dalam fenomena tersebut ada pergeseran peran perempuan/istri menjadi pencari nafkah utama untuk menyelamatkan ekonomi keluarga dengan konsekuensi di antaranya meninggalkan anak bahkan bayi berusia ‘nol bulan’. Ironisnya, meskipun suami bisa menjadi pengasuh bagi anak mereka, namun sedikit sekali yang melakukannya. Hal tersebut merupakan bentuk ketidakadilan dari global care chain dalam budaya patriarkhi yang tidak diperhitungkan oleh TKIP dan keluarganya, maupun oleh para pembuat kebijakan. Kerugian yang diderita anak TKIP tersebut seharusnya bisa dikonversikan dengan jaminan kesejahteraan sosial bagi anak TKIP, yang dibayar oleh majikan dan atau oleh negara, yang seharusnya terintegrasi dalam blue print kebijakan TKI secara komprehensif. A number of passages in the Qur'an contain doctrinal and cultural criticism of Jews and Christians, from exclusive salvation and charges of Jewish and Christian falsification of revelation to cautions against the taking of Jews and Christians as patrons, allies, or intimates. Mun'im Sirryoffers a novel exploration of these polemical passages, which have long been regarded as obstacles to peaceable interreligious relations, through the lens of twentieth-century tafsir (exegesis).
