Imam Mahdi

Heir of Hrh King David [As], the King of Israel: Messianic Age

This is a proclamation; no doubt about it, compiled by the awaited Imam, - Imam Mahdi. When I come to the world, I found that a lot of conjectures, doctrines and claims have been spread within the Muslim Ummah. Men had already claimed to be the Mahdi before the real one. A lot of claimants did take advantage of the status quo; the rulers were oppressing the people; or a political turmoil, conflict of ideas and religious and spiritual decadence were prevalent in the Muslim society. However, Imam Mahdi ("the Guided One") is none other than the Man-in-Y-Sn whom the scholars had conjectured to be Habib-un Nadjdjar, despite the fact that the Man-in-Y-Sn is the ONLY man whom Allah [swt] had divinely authorize to speak to the people in the Holy Qur'an, "a man" who is not a prophet at all, and would come after the prophet Muhammad [pbuh], the Messenger of Allah and the Khatam-an Nabieen. So, the concept of Habib-un Nadjdjar was just a plain shortsightedness. Similarly, a series of claimants, claiming to be the Mahdi was a clear example of misguidance misleading the people into misunderstanding ad-Deen al-Islam.

This is a proclamation; no doubt about it, compiled by the awaited Imam, - Imam Mahdi. When I come to the world, I found that a lot of conjectures, doctrines and claims have been spread within the Muslim Ummah.

UFO Revelation

Modern Hebrew for Beginners

A Multimedia Program for Students at the Beginning and Intermediate Levels

Modern Hebrew for Beginners—which is now revised and updated—and Modern Hebrew for Intermediate Students are the core of a multimedia program for the college-level Hebrew classroom developed at the University of Texas at Austin in the early 2000s. Within an intensive framework of instruction that assumes six weekly hours in the classroom, the program provides for two semesters of instruction, at the end of which most successful students will reach the intermediate-mid or intermediate-high levels of proficiency in speaking and reading, and some will reach advanced-low proficiency, as defined by the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). In addition to a variety of written exercises, the workbook includes vocabulary lists, reading selections, discussions of cultural topics, illustrations of grammar points, notes on registers, suggestions for class and individual activities, and glossaries. The workbook is complemented by a website (http://www.laits.utexas.edu/hebrew) that provides short video segments originally scripted and filmed in Israel and the United States, vocabulary flashcards with sound, interactive exercises on topics included in the workbook, sound files parallel to the reading selections in the workbook, and additional materials that enhance the learning experience. The stability of the workbook, combined with the dynamic nature of the website and the internet searches the students are directed to conduct, allows language instructors to reshape the curriculum and adapt it to the needs of their students and the goals of their programs.

English Romanticism and the Celtic World

English Romanticism and the Celtic World explores the way in which British Romantic writers responded to the national and cultural identities of the 'four nations' England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The essays collected here, by specialists in the field, interrogate the cultural centres as well as the peripheries of Romanticism, and the interactions between these. They underline 'Celticism' as an emergent strand of cultural ethnicity during the eighteenth century, examining the constructions of Celticness and Britishness in the Romantic period, including the ways in which the 'Celtic' countries viewed themselves in the light of Romanticism. Other topics include the development of Welsh antiquarianism, the Ossian controversy, Irish nationalism, Celtic landscapes, Romantic form and Orientalism. The collection covers writing by Blake, Wordsworth, Scott, Byron and Shelley, and will be of interest to scholars of Romanticism and Celtic studies.

Matthew George Easton

This is the compilation of Easton's Bible Dictionary & World English Bible. It contains 3,947 definitions and 238,079 cross-references. The reason for the high number of cross-references is that each word within a given definition is further linked to its own definition in Easton's Bible Dictionary, if such a definition exists. We have also included the World English Bible and linked the Bible references from the dictionary. And we have referenced the use of the definitions in the Bible back into the dictionary. A reference work on topics related to the Christian Bible authored by Matthew George Easton. First edition published in 1893 and a revised edition was published the following year.
