Imam Mandi will rise in the last days of the world to fill the earth with justice. According to Sh'i beliefs, the twelfth Imam is Muhammad ibn Hasan Askarī. He went into minor occultation in his prime of life when his four deputies served as intermediaries between him and his followers. After sixty-nine years, he went into the major occultation and he will rise upon Divine Command. This book is a collection of thematically arranged hadiths based on major classical Shi'i hadīth sources, such as Bihār al-Anwār and Kamāl al-Dīn. The hadīths which have been collected relate to Imam Mahdī's birth; prime of life; minor and major occultations; deputies; signs and causes of his rising; and the fruits of his rising in the last days of the world.
The book Istiqbal-e-Imam Mahdi (Welcoming the Savior) is a compilation of authentic supplications in Arabic language with Urdu translation. The 255 pages book takes the reader to the heights of spiritual excellence, cognizance of God, love of infallibles, and clarity of one's life goal. It has three parts; part-1 tells about the belief about a savior who will fill the earth with peace, justice and prosperity. In Christianity and Judaism, Jesus Christ is believed to be the savior while he is popularly known as 'Imam Mahdi' who will be accompanied by Jesus Christ to establish the Kingdom of God on earth. This part also mentions how other religions believe in some form of a savior. Part-2 reproduces the excellent supplications narrated about or by Imam Mahdi (peace be upon him), which are famous for solving variety of problems facing men and women in today's world. The book is wider in its practical effectiveness yet may look narrow as its substantial content is chosen from authentic source of a particular Islamic school of thoughts.
