B. A. Riduan; A. K. Zakaria; M. N. Win

ABSTRACT: A 13 year old girl with a previous history of generalized tonic clonic epileptic seizures was admitted for frequent fits. Despite initial control of the convulsive seizures, the patient did not regain full consciousness and had repeated involuntary repetitive movements. She was suspected to have a complex partial status epilepticus and responded to more aggressive anti-epileptic drug therapy.
