Metodologi Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

Sebagian besar para ahli pendidikan sepakat, bahwa metodologi pembelajaran memegang peranan yang sangat strategis dalam mendukung keberhasilan dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Di kalangan para pelajar pondok pesantren (santri) misalnya terkenal ungkapan: al-thariqah ahammu min al-maaddah (metode pembelajaran adalah lebih utama dari materi). Ketersediaan sarana prasarana pendidikan dan lainnya yang serba lengkap, misalnya akan kurang ada artinya jika guru yang mengajar di dalam kelas tidak menguasai metodologi pembelajaran yang baik. Seiring dengan kemajuan dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi digital, khususnya teknologi informasi (information technology), dalam berbagai bentuknya, seperti internet Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, dan lainnya menyebabkan berbagai informasi dari berbagai sumber dapat dengan mudah diakses. Demikian pula tuntutan masyarakat yang semakin ingin diperlukan secara demokratis dan semakin berkembangnya berbagai temuan para ahli dalam bidang psikologi berpengaruh besar terhadap perkembangan model pembelajaran; model pembelajaran yang semula banyak berpusat pada guru (teacher centered) misalnya kini bergeser menjadi berpusat pada peserta didik (student centered). Perkembangan hal tersebut selanjutnya berpengaruh pula pada perkembangan dalam metodologi pembelajaran. Perkembangan dalam metodologi pembelajaran tersebut menjadi sangat menarik dan perlu dikuasai oleh tenaga pendidik baik pada tataran teori maupun praktik. Namun demikian, mengingat berbagai teori metodologi pembelajaran tersebut berasal daripada ahli yang memiliki budaya dan motivasi yang berbeda-beda, maka perlu diadaptasikan lebih dahulu dengan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam yang terdapat di dalam Al-Qur’an dan Hadis sehingga menjadi lebih sesuai ketika berbagai metode pembelajaran tersebut akan diterapkan dalam pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam.
