Pada bab 1 akan dibahas mengenai definisi tentang produksi dan manufaktur, prinsip-prinsip manufaktur, sumber-sumber produksi, produk yang dihasilkan, proses produksi, dan organisasi produksi. Adapun tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam bab ini adalah setelah mempelajari materi perkuliahan ini, mahasiswa akan memiliki kompetensi dalam menjelaskan konsep dasar dan prinsip-prinsip dari manufaktur. Pada bab kedua akan dibahas mengenai definisi tentang sistem manufaktur dan aspek-aspek yang mempengaruhi sistem manufaktur (produksi). Adapun tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam bab ini adalah setelah mempelajari materi perkuliahan ini, mahasiswa akan memiliki kompetensi dalam menjelaskan dasar-dasar sistem manufaktur dan aspek-aspek yang berpengaruh.
