Buku ini bertujuan untuk mahasiswa-mahasiswi sebagai pendahuluan pada mata pelajaran ilmu Filsafat kejuruan, dengan mempelajari ilmu filsafat kejuruan (vokasi) kita mengenal susunan tentang hal-hal yang membuat mahasiswa masa kini lebih cenderung mengikuti pergaulan yang tidak baik, faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa dalam memilih pergaulan dan contoh sehari-hari yang terjadi di lingkungan tempat mahasiswa menimba ilmu di kampus. Dalam mengembangkan proses pendidikan butuh pola pikir yang menunjang dengan baik. Manusia memilki akal dan pikiran untuk memecahkan problem-problem dalam mengembang proses pendidikan yaitu proses mencerdaskan manusia dari kebodohan. Dari tidak tahu menjadi tahu, dari memiliki sifat primitif dalam berpikir sekarang sudah terpikir ke arah yang moern,serta manusia butuh filsafat dalam proses pendidikan. Dalam hal ini manusia berhubungan dengan filsafat dalam proses pendidikan. Manusia harus mampu berfilsafat dalam dunia pendidikan. Mampu menjalankan proses pendidikan dengan meng-gunakan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang canggih. Agar proses pendidikan dapat berjalan dengan baik mampu berfilsafat dalam mengatasi masalah-masalah yang muncul dalam proses pendidikan.
