Buku tajwid yang ada dihadapan para pembaca yang budiman ini merupakan kutipan dari beberapa kitab tajwid yang berbahasa arab, baik yang berbentuk nasr (prosa) maupun nadzm (puisi) seperti Tuhfatul Athfal, Almuqadimah, Hidayatul Mustafid, Nihayatu Qaulil Mufiid, Albayanu Fi Tajwid, Aljadid Fi Tajwid, Haqqut Tilawah dan lain sebagainya. Penulis menyusunnya dalam bahasa tanah air kita, bahasa Indonesia dengan harapan isi buku ini dapat diambil manfaatnya oleh mereka yang belum menguasai bahasa Arab. Karena buku ini merupakan buku teori tajwid sedangkan kemahiran membaca Alquran sesuai tajwidnya itu bukan sekedar dari teori tapi harus langsung praktek bersama guru yang bersanad dibidang qiraatul quran, maka penulis sangat menganjurkan buku ini dijadikan suplemen pada saat berguru langsung kepada guru qiraat yang sanad keilmuannya jelas dan bisa dipertanggungjawabkan. Dengan kata lain, hanya dengan membaca buku ini saja tanpa disertai berguru itu mustahil auto benar bacaan Alqurannya. Sebagian besar metode dalam menjelaskan hukum-hukum tajwid mulai dari hukum nun sukun dst, penulis mengadopsi dari kitab Albayan Fi Tajwidil Quran karya Muhamad Salih Yassawi. Mengambil dari kitab tersebut karena penulis berargumen bahwa metode yang digunakannya dalam menjelaskan hukum-hukum sistematis dan mudah difahami. Penulis menyadari bahwa ini hanyalah susun ulang dari beberapa kitab dalam bahasa Arab ke dalam bahasa Indonesia, tentunya tidak menutup dari banyaknya kekeliruan yang bukan sengaja maksud penulis namun semata-mata keterbatasan ilmu dan pemahaman penulis. Oleh karena itu penulis sangat antusias menerima kiritik dan saran yang membangun untuk perbaikan dan penyempuranaan kekeliruan dan kekurangan tersebut.
